Nepal’s socio-economic transformation will get concrete shape, President says

10 Nov, Sindhuli.  President Bidya Devi Bhandari has said country’s socio-economic transformation would get a concrete shape after the elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies.

Hoisting the national flag on the occasion of the 250th victory celebration of Sindhuli Gadhi (fort) Friday, President Bhandari said that she has expected encouraging participation and active support of all in the upcoming elections.

Bhandari said that due attention should be paid for the tourism development of Sindhuligadhi through its infrastructure development and protection of fossils of historical palace.

Expressing her pleasure to the celebration of victory by giving importance for the development and expansion of Sindhuligadhi, President Bhandari wished for the continuity of such works.
On the occasion, the President said that Sindhuli district is the beautiful portrayal of Nepali society that has stood on the foundation of unity amid cultural diversities.

The district can be developed as the hub of internal and external tourism by protecting unique cultures of Sindhuli district, she argued.
